The University of Wisconsin-欧克莱尔's 环境, 社会, and culture minor encourages you to examine social and 环境al conflicts and the policies and strategies used to address them. Coursework focuses on a variety of perspectives, including those related to ethics, 环境, 历史, 社会学, 经济学, 地理位置, 性别, 公共政策和卫生.  

Rooted in experiential learning and research, the interdisciplinary minor allows for true investigation and social change. Projects and presentations will integrate concepts and tools from multiple disciplines across the university to address challenges on both a local and global level. You might identify what chemicals are polluting rivers and how they impact human health or which economic practices will help end poverty and protect the natural world.
